At Avalon University, we are proud to watch our students grow into the doctors who will shape the future of healthcare. Dr. Michael Le, MD ia a graduate who has recently obtained residency at Mountain Vista Medical Center-Midwestern Consortium. Michael’s journey to this achievement wasn’t without its challenges, but his perseverance and resilience serve as a shining example for current and future students.

Reflecting on his educational journey, Michael shared an insightful piece of advice: “There will be times you might do poorly on an in-house exam. Use that as a learning experience to hone in on your knowledge. Keep pushing, keep studying, and practice your testing skills to make sure you’re passing the boards every time.” These words speak to his determination and his belief in turning setbacks into opportunities for growth.

When asked what advice he would give his younger self before starting at Avalon University, Michael wished he had started sooner, saying, “I would have started Avalon from day one, earlier in life.” This sentiment is not just a reflection on his journey but also a testament to his dedication to his chosen path, realizing that every moment counts when it comes to fulfilling one’s dreams.

Beyond the classroom, Michael’s story is also one of service and sacrifice. Before pursuing his medical education, he served in the United States Army, a chapter in his life that instilled in him discipline, resilience, and a deep sense of commitment to others. Michael’s service is something we deeply honor, and we thank him for his dedication to our country.

Thank you for your service and your time here at Avalon, Michael! Your story is one of determination, growth, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence. We can’t wait to see the positive impact you’ll continue to make in the field of medicine.
